Hello everybody..For week 2 we learnt about sources. This time I learnt more about appropriate tools and search strategies to find information. Before this I think I already learnt about sources but in my language, bahasa melayu..Beside that,I learnt this topic in history subject..By the way I want say that I really like this topic..Oppzz!!sorry I,m nagging to much.. :-0 ..Let's me review and explain back about this topic..SOURCES..There have 3 type of sources. It was primary, secondary and tertiary.
first,primary source.....
Contemporary Accounts of an event written by the person who witnessed or experienced it.
- Original Documents– not about another document or account
- Published works - as long as they are written soon after the fact and not as historical accounts
There a lot of example of primary sources:

SESSION 2
A secondary source is something written about a primary source or we can said the the material had been rewrite and edit by the second person..It something true or vice verse....
Secondary sources are written "after the fact" that is, at a later date.Usually the author of a secondary source will have studied the primary sources of an historical period or event and will then interpret the "evidence" found in these sources.what I learnt is secondary sources as second-hand information. Interpret primary sources - at least one step removed from the event or phenomenon under review.Examination of studies that other researchers have made of a subject
Second Hand - express the experiences and opinions of others...

There a lot of example of secondary sources:

BIOGRAPHY Write about another person's life |

history book |
For the secondary sources we rewrite back the information from the primary sources.that what I understand about this second source..then,we continue to the next sources that might be confusing to a lot of people including me.. ;p
Newspaper and Magazine articles can be a primary or secondary sources.why?? I will give you one scene..For example if the article was written at the time something happened, then it is a primary source.
Example of primary and secondary sources :
