First of all,welcome to my Information Literacy blog.This blog only focus for literacy subject.In this blog we need to share about what we learnt from week 1 until week 9 in this subject.
Then,before I start share my reflection about this week let me summaries what I had registered for this second semester.Second semester for foundation studies,I registered the subject at home because that week was semester break.When the clock show 5 p.m,I search the selfservice link and registered my cause.There had 4 subject that we need to registered in this semester , English 2 with Mr Nazri , Mathematics-calculus with Mr Rajasegaran , Learning and Thinking with Madam Rusnizah and last but not least Information Literacy with Miss Asna.

In the 1st class,22 JANUARY 2013, unfortunately class cancelled because my lecture not feeling well.. By the way, I really appreciate it because I did't prepare anything about this subject before I entered the class.
2nd class,23 JANUARY 2013,this was my first time I did my lecture in lecture theater 3.The first note that I wrote in my note book about information literacy was about lecture's information.Miss Asna is a very stylish person with her round face make her face look very cute.Beside that,she have a loud voices and we heard one by one the word that come out from her mouth clearly.Then,she explain about the rules in her class and the assessment we need to in this semester.After that,we need to some ice breaking,it was introducing about our self one by one.

The first thing that she stress more to "What we know Information Literacy all about?".First time I read note about information literacy my opinion is it's maybe like history of Information Technology because there a lot of note there.Unfortunately,my opinion it was totally wrong.Now I know and understand information literacy is not like history but it is.........

Information Literacy is a set of abilities requiring individuals to recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate,evaluate,and use effectively the needed information. |
Sometime I always think why we should learn about this cause..it is benefit to our future life??Now, sincerely I can determine what it's all about.We need to learnt about this subject because:
- IL skills are the foundation to modern democratic society.
- To instill effective way of information and technology usage for students in their education, work or daily lives.

In session 2 I learnt about BIG6 process..I never heard about his word before but from my lecture explanation BIG6 is......

- is a framework for solving problems
- is a Transformational process in which the leaner needs to find, understand, evaluate and use information in various forms to create for personal, social or global purposes.
Let's me explain more deeper about this topic using my lecture's note..Hope our mind can digest and take it as the new information from this subject... :-)

This session I learnt about how to identify a problem for investigation.This process show us more detail about how the information literacy work.Before the class dismiss we needed to send some exercise to strengthen what we learnt in this lecture.

Before the lecture dismiss we need to plan one of mind-map using this research process.It have 4 branches.That were year,then place,respondent and field.Now I'm clear about this topic...Her style make us felt that we need to revision before her class...I love her style to ensure that her student understand or not what she try to explain..
This week we did't have class because on 24th JANUARY 2013 was Sultan Kedah's birthday.happy birthday sultan kedah... :-)
